GRAPHIC DESIGN is the applied art of arranging images and text to communicate a message. Many of our clients are surprised to see the extent of our in-house graphic design studio. With six graphic artists devoted to creating original, eye-catching layouts for a variety of printed materials – and with a suite of Macs and Adobe software at our fingertips – we are well-equipped to take your ideas from initial concept to reality.

And if you don’t come armed with your own ideas, our designers can create a unique “look” for you. We will listen carefully to your needs, then devise design solutions to reach your target market and achieve your goal.

PREPRESS involves a range of processes that take a job electronically from finished design to printing plates. Initially all files received are checked through our pre-flight programme. This eliminates any issues that may occur between our system and files produced externally, eg. font problems, RGB files which need converting to CMYK, checking for appropriate bleeds, etc.
The job is then run through our imposition programme and proofed. Careful proofreading at this stage is very important. Please be aware alterations made after approval can be expensive.
The final step is platemaking prior to printing.
