Some of you will know that at the beginning of this year I was diagnosed with a brain tumour. It has certainly been an unexpected and incredibly challenging six months for both me and my family, and as a result I've been away from work while undergoing treatment.
Before continuing with my next round of chemotherapy, I decided to press pause for two weeks and make some special memories with my family. My husband, Glen, my 18-year-old daughter, Rowan, my 13 year old son, Hudson and I headed to Singapore and the Maldives.
From exploring theme parks, shopping and enjoying some incredible food in Singapore, to the crystal clear waters of the Maldives, it was exactly what we all needed. The highlight for us was snorkelling every day and seeing turtles, stingrays, sharks and more colourful tropical fish than we could have ever imagined. It was a truly unforgettable experience and gave us the chance to simply enjoy being together as a family.
Now that I'm back from paradise, I feel refreshed, recharged and ready to continue my treatment.
